EXECUTIVE BIOS Ivan X. de Souza Deputy Chairman and President, International Ivan X. de Souza is Deputy Chairman and President, International for GEN Logistics Systems where he is responsible for all aspects of finance and international development. Mr. de Souza has more than 30 years experience in corporate finance, investment banking and investor relations. Prior to joining GEN Logistics Systems, Inc. Mr. de Souza was the Founder, President and CEO of the Investcan Group and the Senior Vice President of McLeod, Young and Weir where he was a member of the executive committee, served as a member on the board of directors and was responsible for all branch offices, sales, trading research and part of corporate finance. Mr. de Souza also has hands on experience in the founding and development of such firms as Canavest House Ltd. where he held the position of Senior Vice President and Director, responsible for research. He has also held the title of Executive Vice President for Canergy resources, and was the Managing Director of Marketing and investment strategy for a division of Imperial Oil Ltd., a subsidiary of Exxon Oil Corporation. Mr. de Souza was also the Senior Economic Advisor and OECD Representative for the Government of Canada; Department of Defense Production, Industry and Trade and Chemical Petroleum Industries. Mr. de Souza received a undergraduate degree from Cambridge University, England, a MBA from the Universite Laval, Quebec, Canada.
