Vice President, Marketing
Maria Barringhaus is the Vice
President of Marketing for GEN Logistics
Systems, Inc., responsible for all
aspects of marketing including market
development, brand strategy and
development, corporate communications,
product marketing, advertising and
promotions.
Prior to joining GEN Logistics Systems,
Ms. Barringhaus was the Vice President of
worldwide marketing for InterWorld
Technology Ventures, Inc., where she was
responsible for global brand development,
product marketing, event marketing and
corporate communications. Ms. Barringhaus
also held the position of Director of
Global Marketing for Information Access
Company, a division of Thomson Publishing
Company where she led the reengineering
of the entire marketing initiative to
reposition the company and products in
the marketplace.
Prior to joining Information Access
Company, Ms. Barringhaus served as the
Manager of Marketing for AT&T
Wireless, where she was responsible for
the development of business-to-business
sales and marketing, channel development
and corporate communications. Prior to
joining AT&T, Ms. Barringhaus was the
Manager of Marketing for Computer
Associates International, Inc., where she
developed and led worldwide marketing
initiatives including advertising, direct
response marketing, trade show and event
marketing and product marketing. Ms.
Barringhaus also served as Manager,
Technical Education for IBM. Corporation.
Ms. Barringhaus holds a Masters degree in
Industrial Organizational Psychology from
the New York Institute of Technology, a
Bachelor of Arts degree in Business
Communications and Psychology from
Maryville University, and an Associate of
Arts degree in Humanities from Stephens
College.
